Sherrod's social impact work started before his career did. At 16 he founded Mission: Scholarship, and over the next six years built it into an organization that secured $5M in scholarships for 150+ students across seven U.S. cities. That early belief, that access has to be built and not just hoped for, has run through every organization he's touched since, from national entrepreneurship programming to a youth mobility venture of his own to civic leadership roles across Chicago and the country.

Representation without infrastructure just recreates the same access gaps at a smaller scale, so Sherrod's board work is built to close that gap directly.
